Hi, Annu,

as for me if I create form fields I have to set /NeedAppearances true.
If NOT my fields are not shown.

Read the following I found on Page 118 PDF Reference, maybe this give =
you a clue.

Table 6.47 AcroForm dictionary attributes
NeedAppearances
Boolean (Optional) Acrobat forms use annotations; in particular, forms =
use the
AP dictionary of an annotation to represent the appearance of a field =
s value.
Form-authoring applications can omit the AP dictionary for fields that =
contain text (see Section 6.15.6 on page 121).
When the PDF file is opened, if NeedAppearances is true, the viewer
creates an AP dictionary and all of its subparts including the N
dictionary and the appearance stream it refers to, for any field
containing variable text that does not have one. The default value for =
this attribute is false.
