In THEORY, if you use flattenPages() the results should be
equivalent since Acrobat SHOULD remove the necessary annotation and form
field stuff when you flatten.

However, theory and practice are two different things ;). Try
it! (if I were a betting man, I would bet that annots get completely
removed (and are therefore smaller) while form fields still have "droppings").
