Thanks for your quick reply, I will mention what softwares I have and I can use.

Current setup - All English with Arabc Fonts only
1) Windows ME
2) Office 2000
3) Pagemaker 6.5 (NOT Middle East, English Version)
4) Acrobat 4.0

I have a file which has been created in arabic office 2000 which i am trying to convert to PDF, it has more of Arabic Text and a few English words, when I try and use Distiller from the original word file it creates a perfect PDF, as soon as I change anything in the word file, font or design, it gives me an error of font cannot be Embedded, Lisencing restrictions.

When I use Pagemaker 6.5 to create a PDF, Nothig works better and Faster than Pagemaker and Distiller with only English files but with my file it gives me this error which is similar to the one I get in word when I change the font, pagemaker while pacing the file needs a font to substitute the original one and I select ArabicTransparent, whereas in the word file the font used is Times new roman (arabic).

The secong problem I get in PM6.5 is that it messes up the characters, i mean, the language as it is only english, I do see the arabic words but they r not the right words they r just some random characters.

I need to create a file with a lot of design which shall have the text given in the word file at appropriate places, the existing word file is just a data source which I will incorporate in my design.

I can even Design that page layout in word if required or pagemaker or any other software.

What do you think my problems is?
1) DO i need Arabic Enabled Windows ME?
2) do I need Arabic Enabled Office 2000?
3) DO I need different arabic fonts?
4) Do I need Middle East version of Acrobat 5.0?
5) Do I need Middle East version of Page Maker 7.0?
6) DO i need the Arabic Language kit?

I have the following softwares
1) Windows ME (arabic)
2) WIndows 2000
3) Office 97 & 2000 Arabic Enabled
and I can use the above softwares to make a setup for these PDF's

Please advise.
