Alison,

If you couldn't find anything on PDFStore (http://www.pdfstore.com) and are
keen to create your own then perhaps look at the example code on CodeCuts
(http://www.codecuts.com). There is example code for most office
applications.

IF you don't want to utilise Distiller then you will need to develop a
solution based around the PDFWriter Print Driver. If you are on Windows
then this will involve modifying registry settings and controlling the
'default' printer output etc.
