Assumed that both conditions must be fulfilled to continue, the
JavaScript syntax is different (and this is not an Acrobat
JavaScript-specific issue).

The correct syntax is:

// field object variable definitions here

if (f1 == f2 && f3 == f4) {
// execute the "match" code
} else {
// execute the "non-match" code
}

and then it should work.
