for controlling calculation in _Adobe_, you would have to go to San
Jose, CA, and see what you can control there.

For controlling calculation in _Acrobat_, you have to be aware of the
event handling of Acrobat. The Calculate event is invoked every time
something is actually changed, and it will be the complete
calculation tree which will be invoked (recursively, when bad comes
to worse).

What you can do is either take all the calculation into one big
function, which you include into the calculation event of the last
field in the calculation chain (for example the Grand Total).

Another possibility is to use the Format event for the calculation.
This event is only invoked when something actually changes in that
particular field.

Hope, this can help.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
