ActivePDF have a product which can do this for ASP, not sure if it supports
other languages(Tim?), you can create an OLE session with Word from Perl
and get Word to open a Word Document (not sure about licensing here),
perhaps you can do something with Distiller Server once you have Word
creating PS files??. (http://www.activepdf.com)
Perhaps you can take advantage of PerlScript and not ASP or Perl/CGI??
Not sure if any of this is helping, too many 'ifs', I would be seriously
thinking about the activePDF product - purely for licensing issues. Have a
look through the Products listing on PlanetPDF and see if anything pops up.
Oh, what about PDFLib - I wonder if that can help? (http://www.pdflib.com)
