Eva,

reliably, yes. You can specify, of course, to fill a multi-line
field, but this may lead to some uncertainity in the font size in
your form.

There are some alternatives, which may or may not be suitable and
payable: One solution would be to use a server-based application,
such as FDFMerge by Digital Applications (http://www.digapp.com) to
merge your variable data into a form. Another possibility would be
using a PDF-generating library, such as the pdflib by Thomas Merz
(http://www.pdflib.com) or SPDFlib by Digital Applications, in
conjunction with the report generator of the database to create
completely new PDF documents.
