A better solution would be to keep all of the original/source
material in a database along with styling information - and then based on
the user input, do dynamic document construction. The reason for this
approach is better is that PDF is a great "final form" document, but a
not-so-good "intermediate form" document. Use tools/technology that are
designed for structured data storage (eg. XML) to maintain your information
and then publish "on demand".
