My intention was to create a destination and not an action, I thought that what the PDViewDestCreate() function did. Could it be posible that my parameter list was incorrect. Here's my function call:

PDViewDestination pdView = PDViewDestCreate(pDoc, pdPage, fit, &asRect, zoom, pageNum);

where;
pDoc = type PDDoc = AVDocGetPDDoc(AVAppGetActiveDoc());
pdPage = type PDPage = PDDocAcquirePage(pDoc, ageNum);
fit = type ASAtom = ASAtomFromString("XYZ");
asRect = type ASFixedRect = PDPageGetCropBox(pdPage, &asRect);
zoom = type ASFixed zoom = AVPageViewGetZoom(avPagevw);
pageNum = type ASInt32 = PDPageGetNumber(page);

Should I be calling a different function to set the objects destination?
