Topic: Re: Help creating 'Links' in a Combo-box

Jan,

As far as I can see, there is no direct way to do what you want to accomplish.

First, with Java, you have no chance to do anything at all. It would
be JavaScript. Note that all Java and Acrobat JavaScript have in
common are three letters.

There are some workarounds, of which you might decide on what would
suit you best.

If the number of possible targets is not too big, you could create an
opening button for each of the target files, and use the return value
of your combo box as a parameter to show/hide the appropriate button.

Another approach would involve buttons as well, but using a
multilevel selection, and using FDFs to adapt the action associated
with the buttons.

Hope, this can help.
