That's certainly one way to do it!

Not only can't Acrobat itself do this, BUT Acrobat is also
don't licensed for use on a server (in fact, it's a violation of the
EULA!).

HOWEVER, there are other 3rd party products out there that
are designed for server usage that can generate PDF documents. Do
you still wish to start with Word (.doc files) as the starting point
for your PDF documents, or do you think that you'll change to some
other format? A good starting point for you is probably the
PlanetPDF () tools area which has a LARGE
database of available programs and libraries for you to look into.

BEWARE of companies that claim to do Word->PDF conversion on
the server as some of them (not all, there are good folks out there!)
don't care that they are breaking the law with the Acrobat EULA
violation.
