In general the answer is - replace all high resolution objects
with low resolution ones. How you choose to define what "high" and "low"
are, and what types of objects you wish to manipulate are up to your
application.

We have a PDF (high res) document which contains images and text objects.
apart from down sampling images is there anything else we need to do
in order to create a low res PDF file.
