There are 4 samples which demonstrate rendering into external windows. Two
of them are written in C++ and two are written in VB. The samples:

OIW and VBOIW - Demonstrate use of OpenInWindowEx (Please do not use the
older OpenInWindow) which draws an interactive PDF into the window.

Draw and VBDraw - Demonstrate DrawEx which simply rasterizes a PDF (no
links etc).

The SDK samples are fairly complex. Here is a very simple demonstration of
using OpenInWindowEx in a VB app. This code assumes that you are either
using Acrobat 4.05 or have included the file iac.bas from the Acrobat 4.0
SDK. Please make sure to read the documentation as this code does not
demonstrate closing the PDF file and cleaning up your OLE objects.

Private Sub Command1_Click()
Dim avdoc As CAcroAVDoc
Dim foo As Boolean
Set avdoc = CreateObject("AcroExch.AVDoc")

foo = avdoc.OpenInWindowEx("c:\test.pdf", Form1.hWnd, AV_PAGE_VIEW, False,
0, PDDontCare, AVZoomFitWidth, 0, 0, 0)
End Sub

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
