Basically, working with arrays can be quite efficient for large
amounts of data. We've used that kind of method for PDF-catalogs
several times. You can populate the arrays from a database
(externally) and import them into your Acrobat JS.

Speed wise, you may experience some delay when your form(s) initially
load, but then there's not much of a speed difference. You may want
to encourage your users to download the PDF rather than see it in a
browser window though. (our PDF catalogs have mostly been CD-based
rather than online-viewable for this purpose.)

Array item limits...well I think the largest number we have reached so far is
6,500, give or take a few hundred, so 300 should not be a problem. :)

Maki, filling in for Max who's running around Austria today.
