Thanks Aandi I appreciate your response and already knew this process. It =was a form I created a long time ago while I was still testing and playing =around. I wanted to reaccess it since I put code in it, but since it is no=t one that we use on our Intranet I just put it to the wayside and forgot a=bout it until recently. But thanks anyway for the kind advice.

Actually, I have better advice than "don't forget it" because sooner or lat=er
people do.
I recommend instead a two stage workflow. First stage is to produce regular,
un-secured PDF files. These might need tweaking (links etc.). Second stage =is
to make COPIES and protect them. So at all times you can go back to the
unprotected original PDF.
