I'm guessing that the problem with a shortcut on the CD is that it's not a =relative path to the file. Therefore, the shortcut would look for the =file in its hard drive location rather than on the CD. One solution would =be to make a new, blank pdf file and put that file at the root of the CD. =You can use the Set Page Action option to automatically open the file that =you want the user to see.

We are distributing this cd full of PDF's. All of these PDF's are link to =a table of contents. We've been unsuccessfully trying to make a shortcut =in the root directory of the cd that will point to the table of contents =pdf in the subfolder. The files are in a subfolder so people aren't =confused as to which file to click to start. If we were to put the table =of contents in the root directory and the other files in a subfolder we =would have to redo about a hundred links. DOes anybody have any suggestion =on how this can be done?
