If you works with the prologue/epilogue Distiller files, make a
previous *Page Device* query to know the page orientation. Try this
currentpagedevice /PageSize get % page size query
dup 0 get /pAGEwIDTH exch def % stores the pAGEwIDTH value (in points!)
1 get /pAGEhEIGHT exch def % stores the pAGEhEIGHT value (in points!)
pAGEwIDTH pAGEhEIGHT gt % landscape or portrait ?
(***Landscape Page***) == % Distiller prompt output
(***Portrait Page***) == % Distiller prompt output
Hope this helps and 'aurevoir',
