One of the solutions to be able to create a PDF document merging
your PostScript data and an image file is to use a PostScript Applet.
A PostScript Applet is a small program written in a PostScript
language (levels 2/3), just like an ascii simple text file. Totally
multiplatform (Win, Mac, Unix), we edit it in a text processor to
configurate the working preferences in each case. To execute it, we open
it with the Ghostscript or Acrobat Distiller interpreters and ...voila!
The filosofy of a PostScript Applet gives a lot of agility in
the development (free of interfaces and platforms) and it gives direct
solutions to specific problems in the world of PDF and PostScript.
If you are interested, write me exactly that you want
the PS Applet do and I will send you a Demo.
Hope this helps,
