You can create a button that will print only a certain page range, using
version 4 of Acrobat/Reader and a Forms Field (button):

Page 28 of the AcroJS.PDF - Acrobat Forms and Javascript Document (available
from the help menu).

It's a method of the Doc Object.
------------------------------------ excerpt
Parameters: bInteractive, [nFirstPage], [nLastPage], [bSilent]
Returns: nothing
Use this function to print all or a specific number of pages of the
document. If bInteractive is
true, Acrobat displays the standard print dialog and all other parameters
are ignored.

The optional nFirstPage and nLastPage parameters specify the range of pages
to print. If using
nFirstPage and nLastPage parameters bInteractive must be false.

Set the optional bSilent flag to true if you don't want to display the
cancel dialog box while the document is printing. The default value for
bSilent flag is false.

// This Example will print current page the document is on
this.print(false, this.pageNum, this.pageNum);

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
