The Business Tools have really left a big hole. But things are not
quite lost with the "intermediate PDF Viewer".
As you heard, Adobe has the "Fill-in" product originally made for the
IRS, which is essentially a downgraded version of the Business Tools.
I am right now at the BFMA Symposium (Business Forms Management
Association), and in this mornings vendor session by Adobe, the
answer was that there might be some announcements in this direction
later this year.
I also heard from usually reliable sources that third party
manufacturers might be looking at this issue as well.
So, it can be a well educated guess that by end of the year, there
will be a product of that kind, whereas the brand name is not
In other words, if you can hold on with your project for a little bit
longer, you would be able to have satisfactory solutions.
