As Aandi points out, there isn't any "letter of the law"
reason why you can not do what you wish. In fact, others have
pursued this same path.

That's a different issue, because now you are dealing with
the "spirit of the law". As Aandi points out, this is to help Adobe
sell more copies of Acrobat (or at least Approval) - something that
making your solution public would infringe upon.

So I guess the real question there is whether you would be
prepared to go against Adobe's legal department should they choose to
come after you?!?
