Anne/Lotta,

there are not many options.

The best one would be to predefine the fields on document source level,
using PDFMARK commands (place very simple EPS files, containing the
appropriate PDFMARK commands, in your documents, and then process them with
Distiller).

Another possibility would be copying fields, for example with
Drag, and only then change the field names.

Another possibility is, if you really know what you are doing, would be
opening a copy of the document in a programming text editor which _does not
change any character at all when resaving_, try to find the fields, and
adjust their sizes.

Hope, this can help.
