That's interesting! There is an option to 'Smooth Monochrome Images and
Text' in the General preferences, but if you aren't getting it on the same
file in the same viewer locally and server based then something else must be
at play (like fonts?).

Do you have a URL for me to have a look at the file? If it's not sensitive
data of course.
