Topic: Redirect from ASP to a PDF

I have a web page that links to an ASP (SendPDF.asp).
The SendPDF.asp generates the appropriate URL where the PDF is located and issues a redirect to the
PDF. Acrobat Reader launches and the PDF is displayed
properly. However, the browser still has the address of the SendPDF.asp and is getting invoked 3 times rather than 1. This is not apparent to the user, I only noticed it because the SendPDF.asp increments an access counter for the requested PDF; the counter is being incremented by 3. I changed the redirect to point to a static html file and everything works fine. The problem only occurs when redirecting to a PDF. Any assistance is appreciated!!!
