I am trying to take data from a variable text from and save it to a DB2 database. However, sometimes when the data is stripped from the form text fields, extra characters are showing up in the datastrings. These extra characters cause problems when the data is run through ducomerge and put out to the printer. These are unprintable characters that casue the printing to error. Has anyone had this problem when saving the data from a PDF? Email me if you need more detailed info. This problem doesn't happen all the time either. It seems to only happen when getting the data from a form that has a multi-line text box.
