Topic: Simple PDF wrapper for TIFF image data

Hi all.
I'm trying to compare the processing times of a RIP when handling TIFF and PDF files.
For the first part of the test I am submitting a CCITTG4 compressed bitmap TIFF file.
For the second part of the test I need to take the TIFF file and convert it into a PDF without changing the data in any way. I would like to do this by adding a PDF wrapper around the data.
I have tried using various TIFF to PDF conversion utilities, but they all fail to deal with my v.large file (70MB compressed, 700MB uncompressed).
I have attempted to modify a wrapper from a successfully converted G4 TIFF (converted using the TIFF2PDF utility). My new PDF file opens in Acrobat OK, RIPs OK, but in both Acrobat and the RIP the image area is blank.
I have attached the wrapper from my new file, I would appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of the cause of this behaviour.

TIA

Dave

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
