(just as an FYI)

At this point, there are only two parts of the the Adobe
API's that SPDF doesn't support - PDFEdit (content API's) and PDSEdit
(structure API's). However, we do have a number of our own
extensions to the standard API's in areas like security (so you can
do per-object crypto, at any bit length, with any algorithm!),
content management (we offer a C++/object oriented access to the
content streams rather than the funky PDFEdit API's), and more!

Oh, and since SPDF doesn't require any royalties, we end up
costing MUCH less than Adobe's library.
