Nearly two years since Acrobat 4.0 was released (April 1999), Adobe Systems says that the forthcoming version will ship in the first part of the second quarter, presumably around the time of the Seybold Boston 2001 Conference (and PDF Day!).

The upcoming release features a range of new and enhanced features, as well as a revamped graphical user interface. Planet PDF pulls back the curtain on Acrobat 5.0 in a series of introductory articles. Read all about it, then meet us in the Planet PDF Forum to ask questions, discuss what you like -- and in some cases, perhaps what you don't.
