Joshua,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I appreciate your help.
Basically, I have a file that I have users use as a form.
I run the form in Acrobat without menus or a toolbar.
If users occasionally use keystrokes to save the file it grows a little
incrementally.
When I have users exit through an exit button on my program, I reset and
save the file.
However, if it has been repeatedly saved a few times, the file size grows= a
little.
I know that Acrobat will prompt to use File Save As to reduce the file
size, but
I do not have File Save As as an option for my users (I am concerned that=
they may =
become confused and save the file as another file name. This will be
problematic
for me if they call me for support issues.) Therefore, I need to be able =to
run the
File Save As process as a part of the exit process (and replace
automatically as
the current file name without any prompt to the user).

Could I ask whether you could write a sample of the Javascript that would=
do what
you say is possible? It would be a great help to me. =
I am also in the process of trying to get my hands on the SDK file from t=he
Adobe site
that you referred to.

Again, Joshua, thanks so much for your help.
Best regards,
James McConeghy
