Topic: VB6 - Scan to PDF with one click

I have to write a VB6 program that creates a database entry containing Serial# and PDFfilename, then allows the user to click "Scan" and the program, with no further user input, scans the one to 5 pages in the scanner's document feedeer into one PDF image file (text is not required, just the image).

The tricky part is "no further user input". So I think I need a developers toolkit that has:
1. TWAIN to scan to TIFF G4
2. A program to convert TIFF G4 to PDF.

or, something that I can call that will scan to multipage PDF certainly would do it.

I may have found #2 at http://c42pdf.ffii.org/.
The low level TWAIN control is the big issue.

Can anyone shed some light on where I should look to find this stuff.

Thanks
