I understand that I can prevent the printing of a post-it note "ANNOTATION" when not using a postscript print driver to print a PDF by changing the value of the 'PRINT FLAG - BIT 3' to a zero.

We have purchased "PrintLink" from "The Bradley CO., Cleveland Ohio". PrintLink is a front end system that allows us to order Acrobat forms on-line for PRINT-ON-DEMAND. We print to a Xerox 6180 DocuTech printer as well as desktop printers. When we use a postscript print driver we the option to control the printing of a post-it note. When we print through Printlink (direct to the printer) which doesn't use a postscript driver we have no control, if the post-it note is included with the PDF, the note will always print. We are currently using Acrobat 4.0 and 3.X

My question is, how and where do I change
the value of the print flag. What do I need to know to perform this operation. I can't find any information/documentation on how to do this.
Please help.

Best Regards

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
