I've just started looking at a Web integration problem.
What I need to achieve are the 2 following things from within a web browser. Does anyone out there have any experience of this sort of thing?

1) An expandable directory tree showing folder/names doc/names preferably integrated into the PDF viewer in the same way as bookmarks (just with automatic node expansion and nice icons) then use this tree to navigate documents and expand the tree with chapters and so on (basically an extension to the bookmarks)..

2) Use the free text search against the index file.
Looks like this cannot be done ?

Any alternative suggestions ?
