Topic: Word Auto Paragraph Numbering Conversions

Please can someone help me or point me in the right direction. We are using Word 97 and Adobe Acrobat 4. All our Word documents contain automatic paragraph numbering. To create my PDF file, I select File > Create Adobe PDF from Word. I set my PDFMaker options, but when the pdf file is created, it has the text from the headings, but there are no numbers. If I manually add the numbers to the Word document, the numbers appear with the text as a pdf bookmark, when I create the pdf file. Adobe have told me that it will not convert the Word auto paragraph numbering. I've been looking for 3rd party solutions, but I can't find anything that will specifically deal with this issue. I realise that it's a Word feature that's causing the problem, but other people must have had this problem, so there must be a way to resolve it. I need to have the numbers converted along with the text to pdf bookmarks. If anyone has any advice, I'd be grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
