Dear Friends,
I am planning to develop a series of CD-ROM based courseware which should be searchable and should also have option to browse from the content page.
The modules of the coursewares are available in pagemaker and pdf format.

For our other projects we are using a full text search engine which takes text files as input and produces a inverted file. When user enters a query string it produces a list of document number containing that string. We develop our user interface in Visual Baisc.

I was planning to use the same search engine here. For that we have to convert the pdf into text to create the inverted file. We will keep another copy of the PDF file for display.Once the search engine produces the list of document numbers in response to a query we will map the document number to corresponding pdf files. These pdf files will then be used for display.

Now my problem is how do i highlight the search terms in the pdf files before I display them.
Waiting for some response

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
