All,

Although I thought I had it, I am still having a problem printing my PDF files. Seemingly, the ProcSet isnít being used correctly. I am not sure if I am referencing the ProcSet in the correct location. Although I can view the PDF file perfectly within Acrobat Reader (4 and 5), when I print the PDF file the printer either eats the request or prints it correctly and generates the following error:

ERROR: ioerror
OFFENDING COMMAND: flushfile

STACK:

-filestream-
-filestream-
-savelevel-

When I get this error, the PDF prints correctly and then a second sheet follows with the above error. When I add text to the PDF file, it prints the graphic, but no text; meaning, it is blowing up before it gets to my text commands. The graphic comes first within my contents.

Below is my ProcSet:

3 0 obj
[
/PDF
/Text
/ImageB
/ImageC
]
endobj

I reference it from my page and from my references:

Based on several suggestions from this forum, I updated my page contents:

q 612 0 0 768 0 0 cm /Z#3A#5CScanned#20Forms#5CI9#5FPage1#2Ejpg Do Q
BT
100 Tz
/FTimesRoman 12 Tf
72 720 TD
0 0 Td
ET

When I add text, it obviously shows up between my BT and ET. This is after the graphic; therefore, when I get the error, I get the graphic be no text. On some printers, I donít get anything.

Any ideas? Should I implement a simpler image name like the standard /IMG1?

Regards,

Clinton
