Topic: problems converting in MS Word 2000

Previously I have only converted word documents that were designed specifically to be converted to pdf to be used as fill in forms on the web.

I now want to convert an example document that is 4 pages long and has full securting (no printing, no changing, no copying) so I selected all these settings and tried to convert, and it went looking for bookmarks, which took ages and in the end it came up with an error. So I turned off the make bookmarks function so that it wouldn't look for any, and now it goes right though to printing page 3 then it closes Word and doesn't create a document.

Does someone know what's going on??? and how I can fix it?
