I work for a conservative (read that "behind the times") utility company and
we want to begin turning some of our paperwork into eforms; things like
applications for service to make our processes more efficient and easier on
our customers. Pretty basic stuff; hopefully. My personal experience with
Acrobat goes back to version 3 and I've now got Acrobat 5 but I have only
messed around a little with its forms functions.

As I see my options:

1. I can keep it simple, at least to begin with, by just making eforms that
are downloadable, customers complete the forms on their PC's and email them
back to us where we will put the forms data into an Access database.

2. I can bite the proverbial bullet and make Acrobat eforms web enabled;
where customers fill out the forms online.

Complications with the latter include the fact that my company outsourcers
its website.

I would appreciate any guidance as to other complications I will likely run
into from anyone who has "been there, done that."
