Topic: How can I print text on top of a pdf form?

I have a pdf form. I want to print text on top of the pdf. I can convert the pdf to a bitmap and print the bitmap and text on top of the bitmap. However, the bitmap doesn't print clearly.

I know there exists software from adobe that does this, however, I am looking to develop software that prints text on top of the form. Is there a way of printing a pdf form from a dos command and sort of mix that printout with my text before it is actually sent to the printer???

Please, any response any one can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Danielle (an overworked graduate student)
