Hello all:

The company I work for is currently involved in a project in which part of it involves batch renaming of PDF files.

To make things simple, it has to be able to:
1. Read all PDF files from a User Defined Folder.
2. Extract a text string from a user defined coordinate from the PDF file (all PDF files have the same format).
3. Rename (or copy) the PDF File to another Folder with a filename: ABC### where 'ABC' is user defined, and '###' will be the extracted text. The length must also be flexible.

We've found many interesting applications, but non so far that can do the job.

Our programming area is also plating around with Acrobat's SDK, since the SDK has the tools and it seens to be very simple, but if we can find this application, we can negotiate...
