Topic: Embedding BMP into PDF

Hi All,

I am reading a Windows BMP file and getting the BITMAPINFOHEADER, which has the biBitCount member value as 24.
I am embedding the raw BMP image data into PDF, for that i am setting the BitsPerPixel of image dict as 24. When i am getting the Acrobat error 'Error parsing the image...'. Now if i set the BitsPerPixel as 8, the image is appearing on the PDF (with no errors) but the color is incorrect. It tried swapping RGB to BGR but in vain.
What could be the problem?. Why is that the value 24 is not working ?.

Please advice me on this.
Thanks in Advance,

Shine Vijayan
