Topic: Does importTextData work in Adobe Reader?

I have a bunch of PDF forms I'd like to distribute to end-users. I have a tab delimited file with a few default values for fields in my PDF form. This way I can customize each set of forms for individual users by just changing the values in the "file.txt".

I've got the following line of code in my Document javascript:

It works great on my development PC (loads the fields like a champ when the PDF opens), but when I test it on a machine with just the Acrobat reader it doesn't work. I've tried a myriad of things (like specify the absolute path, putting the code on a button, etc), but nothing has worked. I'm wondering if the method is even available in the reader?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
