We are using Acrobat 5 and Office 97 (Win2K SP2 OS) and have the appropriat=e PDFMaker templates in startup for Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
When using the PDFMaker button in Word97 to PDF the current document, if th=at document has track changes (ie marked inserted and struck out text) thos=e changes are automatically accepted when the document is PDF'd, however, i=f you choose to print the document to the Distiller Printer the document is= PDF'd with the changes marked.
We would like to take advantage of the PDFMaker functions but would like to= choose if the markings are automatically accepted or just simply left mark=ed in the PDF document ... has anyone had any experience with this. I was =hoping that we could edit the PDFMaker.dot file but it seems to be locked d=own.
Any comments, ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks ... Lorraine
