Topic: How to print to a printer which is not the Win standard printer?

I tried:

1) Acrobat|AcroRd32 /p /h ANY.PDF

...either of the app stays open after printing, printing of a further .PDF is no problem, but only to the standard printer

2) Acrobat|AcroRd32 /t ANY.PDF \\SERVER\PRINTER

...either of the apps stays open after printing, BUT printing of a further .PDF is NOT possible!?! Either of the apps refuses to print anything unless it is closed - and opened again automatically when starting the next print.

OK! Accepted! It's not the first app in my live with a misbehaviour :-) Let's forget about the command line and use OLE from a self-written VB app. ( Yes! I do RTFM! --> IACOverview.PDF - DDE Support: "IMPORTANT: You should use OLE automation instead of DDE whenever possible." )

Referencing the Acrobat.TLB in VB supplies an object.method CAcroAVDoc.PrintPagesSilent(Ex) which prints to the standard printer only, too.

It does not supply an AVDoc.AVDocPrintPagesWithParams which I found in CoreAPIReference.PDF.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
