Topic: Problems with annotations and compressing

We wrote a little program which just inserts some web links into an existing PDF. Everything works fine, but now we want to reduce the file size by using the distiller. Here we have the problem that there are no more annotations in the compressed file. I think we use the wrong settings, but we couldn't find a way to avoid that.
We also tried the web-optimization in Acrobat 5.0. With that option, the annotations were still there, but the file size increased.

I hope you can post me a solution for this problem.

Thanks in advance
