Topic: SQL Query with ADBC - 'Select *' fails

I am setting up a doc that will run a query out of a SQL database and print one page for each row of the recordset. I have run in to a problem using Adobe Acrobat 5.0.0.

When I call statement.execute using the SQL select all token, the function throws an exception.

-- statement.execute("select * from tblData");

When I enumerate the columns, the function succeeds.

-- statement.execute("select col1, col2, col3 from tblData");

Given that the form I'm working with is pulling from about 55 columns, enumerating the columns makes the code a bit difficult to maintain. All of the code that I've seen makes use of the splat in SQL queries. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
