I am searching for a method to avoid relinking of all my bookmarks and index links when I rename the files. Currently we must rename all pdf files for a new web site. These are extremely large files that are split into 5 or more separate pdfs that are linked to each other. There is a Table of Contents, a Text Index, and bookmarks all with links to the other linked pdfs. Is there any method of doing this and still retaining all the links?

If there isn't, is there a method of re-generating a text index with links from the newly renamed and re-linked relational pdf files? I know I can use the Catalog and generate a searchable index but is there any method of printing this to the document as a text index?

The original files were scanned in and converted to pdfs.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
