Topic: Multiple TIF to single PDF file

I have multiple tif file that I need to combine to form one PDF file. The Tif images are numbered and I want to retain this number order in the PDF file. I can add the images to the PDF one by one and it works fine the only problem is that there are hundreds of images and this would take hours. Multiple TIFs can be selected but there are two problems. First, there is a limitation on the # of files that can be selected (somewhere around 60 files). Second, when you insert multiple TIFs and insert them AFTER the last page they insert out of order. The order could be changed in acrobat but that would be extremely tedious in a 500 page PDF file.

Adobe tech support could offer no solution, though they knew of the problem I was experiencing. Their suggestion was that I seek out a plug-in that would allow me to create a PDF file from multiple TIF images while (and this is the important part) retaining the page number order.

Any suggestions??

Matt
