Topic: How to create a pdf document programmatically?

Hi,

We are in a search of the answer for the doubt mentioned below and we need the clarification desperately.

We have a requirement like

capturing the data in Lotus Notes document and have to create a pdf document on the fly (reacting to the user action). The created document will have all the data from the notes document and also a image etc. The requirement also includes other following features along with it...

Diagongal Strike Through of the text
Auto Font for a text area
%Height of the text alone can be increasible
Kerning of the text.
etc.

First we tried to create a simple pdf document on the fly to display the text (what is captured in a Lotus Notes Document) but later we understood through OLE automation we cant achieve most of the features.

Now we are going ahead with writing a PDF descriptions and creating the PDF document directly.

In the mean time we also wanted to try with developing plugins using CORE API and deploy those in Lotus notes Environment.

But we would like to know whether all these are possible if we use CORE API?

If anybody answers for this or guides a appropriate method for this problem will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
