Hello All,

I am facing problem when I am opening PDF file in word through ASP Coding I am getting following error.

My code is as below :

Dim wrd
Set wrd = Server.CreateObject("Word.Application")

Dim doc

VFlag = False
wrd.Visible = False
wrd.ScreenUpdating = False
pdpath = Server.MapPath("PDF\" & pdfpath)
pdfnm = Mid(pdfpath, 1, Len(pdfpath) - 4)
Flag = False
strInput = ""

'Response.Write "sita:" & pdfnm
'Response.End

strPDFFilePath = pdpath

Set doc = wrd.Documents.Open(pdpath)

'If fso.FolderExists("c:\temp\") Then
'MsgBox "folder exists"
'Else
' fso.CreateFolder ("c:\temp")
'End If

'Pdffile = "C:\Temp\" & Right(Pdffile, (Len(Pdffile) - (InStrRev(Pdffile, "\") - 1)))
doc.SaveAs (Server.MapPath("PDF\" & pdfnm & ".txt"))
doc.Close
wrd.Quit
Set doc = Nothing
Set wrd = Nothing

I am getting
Server object error 'ASP 0196 : 80040154'

Cannot launch out of process component

/webforms/DTDGENASP.asp, line 34

Only InProc server components should be used. If you want to use LocalServer components, you must set the AspAllowOutOfProcComponents metabase setting. Please consult the help file for important considerations.

Please help me for the solution of this problem.

Thanx
Sitaram
